On Nov. 2nd, 2008, the opening ceremony of the ninth International Food Charity Fund Raise was held in Pearl River New City. The Charity Fund Raise of this year is on a grand-scale. Many Chinese and foreign families took part in the event. Staffs from Guangzhou Luhu Golf & Country Club were also there.

In the afternoon of Nov. 8th, the 2nd Luhu Piano Contest was held in the Lobby of Luhu Golf Club. MR. Ye Huasheng, the former Principle Conductor from Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, and Mr. Gordon Ho, Luhu Country Club Manager, attended as the judges of the contest.
